Job Summary
As a Pathologists' Assistant, you'll play an integral role in delivering high-quality diagnostic pathology services through the gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens. Working alongside expert pathologists, you'll support complex case evaluations, contribute to autopsy services, and help advance the education of pathology residents and student trainees.This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented pathology professional seeking a challenging and rewarding role within a collaborative, academically focused healthcare environment that values innovation, teaching, and continuous professional growth.
Starting Comp $110,000 Annual.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Clinical Pathology REQUIRED
Master's Degree Pathologists' Assistant REQUIRED

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Extensive knowledge of human anatomy, tumor staging guidelines and medical terminology.
Extensive knowledge of how to approach wide variety of surgical specimens.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills in person, over the telephone, via e-mail, and other communication devices.
Knowledge of basic human pathology.
