As a casual/per diem Patient Safety Attendant (PSA), you will float to Mount Carmel East, Mount Carmel Grove City, Mount Carmel St. Ann's and Mount Carmel DublinPosition Purpose:
In accordance withthe Mission and GuidingBehaviors;the Patient Safety Attendant provides support for a safe environment for the patient who may be mentally/emotionally incapacitated, confused, or at risk of injuring themselves or others. Provides observation of patient activities under the direction of the registered nurse assigned to manage the patient’s plan of care.
WhatYouWillDo:
Accompanies patients to different departments.
Assistswith patient’s personal needs including feeding, positioning, toileting, ambulationasappropriate.
Maintains a clean, neat environment for the patient.
Collaborates with other health care workersregardingpatientplanof care and treatment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school graduate preferred
Experience:Previouspatient care experience helpful but not necessary
Effective Communication Skills
Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions
