Position Purpose

The Pharmacy Tech will assist the Pharmacist by filing physician prescriptions for medications for oral, rectal, topical and injectable use. Always works under the supervision of a pharmacist.Enters patient demographics and insurance information into the computer system. Enters prescriptions onto patient profiles. Checks patients out at cash register. Keeps Pharmacy clean, neat and organized.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-2 Years of Pharmacy experience preferred

• Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) certification within 1 year of hire date or currently enrolled in Pharmacy School Program
