The Rehabilitation Technician supports therapists and providers under the supervision of Site Leadership by assisting with patient care and clinical operations at our Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility.Hours | Schedule:

Position Purpose:
The RehabilitationTechis responsible forpreparing treatment areas, cleaning treatment areas, obtainment of supplies, transporting, positioning and inassistingpatients/clients,therapistsand therapist assistants in the completion of the therapy treatment plan. TheRehabTechmay also be assigned routine clerical support tasks in support of the patient care process.
What theRehab TechWill Do:
Reviews the chart ofclinicpatients to ensure all testing/correspondence is included and enters information to be part of the patient’s medical record (EMR/paper)asappropriate.Completesforms needed for appointmentsand beginsand retrieves information in preparationfor upcomingvisits.
Readies patient rooms for visit, setting up necessary equipment, instruments,andsupplies.
Rooms patients with friendly greetings,utilizingAIDET and 2 patient identifiers, prepares them for visit; coordinatespatientflow into exam rooms in preparation for the visit, gathers and documents pertinent data frompatientsand enters information into the medical record.This may include vitals.
Collaborates with clinic staff andassistswiththe safetransporting andtransferringofpatients.
Contributes tocomplete andaccuratepatient recordsperformed under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician.
Completes and recordsvitals andL-Dex Lymphedema Test (Lymphedema Clinic)for patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Must complete assignedfoundational courses in medical terminology, bodystructureand directional terminology within30 daysof hireor have certification equivalent.
