Job Summary
Part-time support for the Department of Restorative Sciences at the Dental College of Georgia predoctoral program didacticly and clinically.
Responsibilities
Teaching - 88%
1. Support clinical learning for students, faculty and peers in didactic laboratory and/or clinical settings using best evidence.
2. Supervise and mentor students/residents with oral health care in DMD and/or Advanced Education Programs (Pros, AEGD; based on credentials).
3. Develop, administer and provide informal/formal student performance assessment.
4. Support program didactics.
Service - 2%
1. Participation in Department, DCG, and AU committees.
Clinical/Patient -10%
1. Patient care in DPG faculty practice, maintain quality standards for EHR compliance with DPG policy.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
US DDS or DMD degree (or foreign equivalent)
Required Experience
Completion of DDS or DMD degree (or foreign equivalent)
Other Required Qualifications
State of Georgia Dental License or State of Georgia Faculty Dental License.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in advanced technologies, digital workflow, including dental implants
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to work productively in didactic and clinical educational environments.
Preferred Experience
Prior experience in dental education
