Job Description
MuleSoft Architect
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills-
• Lead the design and architecture of complex integration solutions using MuleSoft.
• Define technical standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks for APIs and integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and developers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide hands-on guidance during system design, development, and deployment phases.
• Design API specifications using RAML or OAS (Swagger) following API-led connectivity approach (Experience, Process, and System APIs).
• Lead MuleSoft Anypoint Platform setup and optimization (on-premise, cloud, hybrid).
• Oversee MuleSoft environment management, including Dev, QA, UAT, and Production setups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to MuleSoft applications.
• Mentor and support developers and junior architects.
• Maintain documentation of integration solutions and architecture decisions.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, scalability, and performance standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Experience with different deployment topologies specifically Anypoint Runtime Fabric on AWS MuleSoft setup
• Hands-on experience with designing and building Mule 4 projects for different orchestration and integration patterns (for example API’s, SOAP services, scheduled processes, and message queuing).
• Robust understanding of integration design patterns & best practices
• Understands and transform business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture and design specifications.
• Strong working experience with the 3-layered approach to composable MuleSoft architecture
• Experience in architecting solutions with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform on Mule 4, MCPA and MCIA certification would be preferred.
• Strong experience on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions on Anypoint Platform.
• Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects.
• Ensure self and development team adheres to documented design and development patterns and standards.
• Expertise on Design patterns for building MuleSoft Solutions ground up using Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, Guaranteed delivery, Message sequencing,
• Expertise in Batch message processing, error handling and reconciliation mechanisms.
• Extended knowledge about MUnit and test-driven development.
• Strong knowledge about Maven for MuleSoft projects and end to end CI/CD.
• Work closely with other Solution Architecture/Designer/Leads/Developers to ensure consistency and quality of solutions and knowledge sharing.
• Experience with Dataweave for setting up data transformations.
• Define and oversee the high-level integration solution architecture/design.
• Ensure adherence to the Integration Target Architecture, principles, patterns, standards, and guidelines.
• Participate in Integration architecture/design review boards and review/provide inputs pertaining to detailed integration solution.
• Address commonality and reuse of solutions across multiple projects.
• Define and review existing CI/CD framework.
• Enable/leverage common solution assets such as canonical models, frameworks.
• Provide support for design, configuration and operational management of specific integration tool-based solutions and infrastructure/environment.
• Experience in a greenfield implementation setup for MuleSoft.
• Integration experience with various SaaS products like Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Siebel, Snowflake, DocuSign etc
• Experience on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions on Anypoint Platform.
• MuleSoft Environment Management Best practices
• Platform upgrades, Security upgrades and Patches.
Salary Range- $110,000-$120,000 a year
