As Director of Occupational Health, you will manage overall departmental administrative operations, fiscal management, accounts receivable and program management support, all while fostering strong communication within the team and across departments. You will respond to various requests, streamline communication, manage reports and ensure ongoing compliance and improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will assist with budget control, focusing on quarterly financials and efficient resource allocation. In this role, you will work collaboratively with staff, creating a welcoming, encouraging and supportive environment where all caregivers feel valued and appreciated for what they bring to Cleveland Clinic.While perfection is not expected, a commitment to continuous growth and a service-oriented mindset are essential for success.

A caregiver in this position works days from 8:30AM - 5:00PM.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Compile and manage budgets for all services lines within the Occupational Health Department, including Caregiver Occupational Health Services, Cleveland Clinic Awork and Caring for Caregivers.
  • Optimize workflows for billing within the department, including accounts receivable for Cleveland Clinic AtWork
  • Perform and oversee reports and data analysis for compliance programs and other services and programs.
  • Monitor, analyze and evaluate programs on an operational and financial basis.
  • Create and adjust systems and tools for daily monitoring and continuous improvement of programs and services.
  • Advise and support the department(s) program operations enterprise wide.
  • Partner with clinical leaders within the department on staffing and schedule optimization.
  • Oversee contract management for external vendors.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders on the use and optimalization of EMR/IT systems.
  • Monitor department specific vendor contracts and agreements.
  • Lead and implement clinic safety protocols in partnership with clinical leaders.
  • Manage the selection and placement of new employees, performance evaluations and corrective actions.
  • Support the application of CCF operating procedures and communicates with management to ensure understanding and compliance with policies/procedures.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field
  • Knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, staffing planning, supervision, and operational analysis
  • Ability to direct and evaluate the efforts of others
  • Seven years of progressively responsible related work experience, including at least three years in management

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel throughout the healthcare system.
  • Ability to operate a computer, audio visual and other office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information, including the ability to deliver any applicable training in person and virtually.
  • In some locations, the ability to move up to 25 lbs.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $44.53

Maximum hourly: $67.92
